Counter / Inside Sales Representative – Electrical Wholesale

• Assist walk-in customers, phone customers, and contractors with product selection, pricing, availability, and orders.
  
  
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate electrical products and solutions.
  
  
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.

• Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for customers.
  
  
• Follow up on open quotations to secure orders and increase sales.
  
  
• Accurately enter and process stock, direct, back, and special orders.
  
  
• Check inventory availability, pricing, and product specifications.
  
  
• Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse personnel to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  
  
• Communicate order updates, product availability, and lead times to customers.
  
  
• Assist in resolving order discrepancies and customer concerns.
  
  

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional counter and showroom area.
  
  
• Restock, display, and organize products to ensure availability and visibility.
  
  
• Support daily branch operations and assist team members as needed.
  
  

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in electrical wholesale distribution (REQUIRED).
  
  
• Strong working knowledge of electrical materials, including conduit, fittings, wire, breakers, panels, devices, and related electrical supplies.
  
  
• Experience assisting electrical contractors with product selection, quotations, and order processing.
  
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  
  
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  
  
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently under pressure.
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in pricing, quotations, and order entry.
  
  
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PDF applications.
  
  
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  
  
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take initiative.
  
  

• Experience using Epicor Solar Eclipse or a similar electrical distribution ERP system.
  
  
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  
  
• Previous counter sales or inside sales experience with an electrical wholesale distributor.
  
  
• Established knowledge of electrical contractor purchasing needs and common industry products.
  
  

• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
  
  
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  
  
• Ability to assist with product stocking and counter operations as needed.
